Breakwater Mornings - Series of Four
A series to remind you: it’s okay to just float.
In the early days of grief, I found myself drawn to the ocean each morning — not seeking answers, just needing the rhythm.
The waves mirrored my sorrow: relentless, crashing, impossible to quiet. Until one morning, they didn’t.
The sea was still — a mirror of glass. The colors were soft, warm, and grounding. I didn’t feel healed, but I felt held.
This four-part series was born from that moment. A meditation on stillness. A visual reminder that you don’t always have to be productive, or resilient, or doing anything at all.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is simply let yourself float.
